Inver Grove Heights

Years of neglect

Had taken their toll on this stunning home on a private golf course. The yard was suffering from rotted retaining walls and drainage issues that threatened to undermine the integrity of the home’s foundation. The new owners had done an extensive interior renovation and in 2014 decided to tackle the exterior.

We had to address the retaining wall in the rear of the property, then create a patio and walkway that would connect the 2 slider doors exiting the back of the home.

The patio leads up the hill where we installed large Limestone slab steps that reach the back of the garage where we put in a nice wide paver walkway.

Our client also wanted to be able to take their golf cart from the garage to the back yard so we dug out a path along the side of the garage and installed pavers there as well after installing a structural retaining wall to protect the path and garage.

The gutter downspouts had been creating erosion for years and the best management solution involved tunneling PVC pipes underground to take the water away without the risk of erosion.

We spent the lions share of 2 months here transforming the bleak exterior into a real gem and it paid off in spades!
